State of Play, August 2011

I’m still in the heat of Tiny Tower building over here. I’m up to 81 floors, 150 Bitizens, and 22 of 47 achievements complete. I want to say I’m half way there, but I’m still waiting to start raking in achievements faster now that it seems I’ve got half of almost every achievement ready and waiting for its other business.

If you’re playing Tiny Tower, consider adding me on Game Center (id: luragames.com). I have been hoping NimbleBit will find a fun way to let us interact with each other and share our resources. I’m also hoping for an express automatic elevator so I won’t ever have to deliver another Bitizen to a random floor again. (81 floors, oh my yawns.)

Waiting for SWTOR

Star Wars: The Old RepublicAlmost a year ago on my personal site I mentioned that I was getting excited for Star Wars: the Old Republic. And I quote:

I also feel this may be my chance to make up for not having blogged about my WoW experiences — I always felt like I missed the boat at the beginning and it’s been too late to start for a while now. If this game turns out to be half as awesome and addictive as it looks, I may very well become a SW:TOR blogger.

My excitement has only increased since then and even more, so has my desire to blog about it.
