SWTOR Server Selection

LuraGames -- and so it beginsGuild server selection notices are going out and although I won’t be guilded at launch, I’ve made the following choices:

Republic characters: Juyo
Empire characters: Sith Meditation Sphere

I know I’ve always said I’d play Empire, at least to start, but with friends on Republic side and having played a few Republic characters in beta, I’m thinking I might start with a Jedi Consular. We’ll see.

Tomorrow, staggered early access starts. I’m expecting to be one of the first in game. The announcements that the game was on sale for pre-order had been out less than an hour when my preorders were placed and codes redeemed.

To guild or not to guild

Star Wars: The Old RepublicIf you asked me a few weeks ago if I was going to join a guild for SWTOR, I would have said HECK YEAH. At that point in time I was knee-deep in guild policies and filling out my application. But I never submitted it, and I’m not sure I’m going to. Every day it seems I waffle back and forth, maybe it’s just too early to decide.
